In many instances, an individual is able to purchase property, only to have to pay taxes on those assets for a long time. Maybe a group will give a person the right to life, but then dictate the sexual preference or beliefs the person should have.
I believe that quality of life should be measured by John Lockes philosophy of every person having the right to life, to liberty, and to the pursuit of property. Because Ive heard it said that liberty is vague and could possibly be destructive if people could do whatever they want, I will say that this standard can probably be further defined by a code of ethics that includes things like the mutual consent to buy, sell, or trade – or the right to liberty so long as it is not destructive to the life, liberty, and property of others.
